The Small Business Server Printing products communicate with each other over the network via .NET Remoting technology, using TCP protocol. The communication is completely transparent in the send that it doesn't matter anymore on which computer a process is running. The Client communicates as easy with a Dispatcher that runs on the same computer, as with a Dispatcher that runs on a remote computer.
If you want to use our Small Business Server Network solution in combination with contactless encoding, you never have to worry about contactless information, like keys, etc., going over your network. The product is created to gather important or critical data at the location where the printer is running, at the Printer Server site. This unique technology offers two major advantages:
